Autism Awareness Month

26th Apr, 2024

The students in Loughcrew worked together on a project where they wrote and illustrated what makes them unique. Throughout April, each class had the opportunity to visit Loughcrew. When they were there, they posted notes in a special box, detailing their own unique qualities.

Ms. McPolin’s class eagerly used a green screen to craft a creative video that showcased their individual talents and attributes!

The end of Autism Awareness Month was marked by a vibrant celebration at the school, with students and staff dressing in rainbow colours on the final day. The joyful spirit continued as Ms Fox’s Junior Infants class, adorned in their colourful outfits, enjoyed an outing to the playground.
