Our Mission Statement

At Scoil Oilibhéir Naofa, a Junior School in the Catholic tradition, we nurture hearts and inspire minds by fostering a community built on truth, kindness, empathy and joy.

The Journey Behind Our Updated Values

Last year, our school undertook a meaningful update to its mission statement, guided by the insights and expertise of Joe O’Connell, who delivered an inspiring talk on the importance of aligning school values with community aspirations.

This initiative began with a collaborative workshop involving staff members, where we explored and identified the core values we collectively uphold. To ensure a holistic approach, we also conducted a comprehensive survey of parents to understand the values they prioritise for their children’s education.

These shared insights helped us define and articulate our core school values, which now form the foundation of our renewed mission statement.
