A heartfelt thank you to Garda Deirdre Semple for her visit to First and Second Class.
The children had an educational and enjoyable experience exploring her uniform, equipment, and the various animals that assist her. They even had the opportunity to try on different parts of her uniform!
We learned that Garda Síochána means ‘The Guardians of the Peace’, emphasising the importance of communication and using our words to resolve issues. We were also reminded to consistently wear seatbelts and to dial 999 in case of an emergency.
